Your PATH

Pause

I need rest.

When stress, sustained demands, or caring for others have left little room to settle, Pause begins with rest. Quiet, comfort, and space to receive can be enough of a starting point.

Pause PATH artwork

A place to begin.

There are times when the wish for care is simple: less to carry for a while. You may feel tired, overextended, or tense even when the day has finally slowed down. Pause begins with the need for rest, without requiring a particular reason for it.

This PATH makes room to talk about what feels comfortable, how much conversation you want, and the pace of touch you prefer. Rest does not have to become another task to get right.

What this PATH makes room for.

You may be noticing how much of your attention goes toward work, responsibility, or the needs of other people. There can be room here for your own preferences, including quiet, less stimulation, and time to receive.

Feeling calm is not a requirement. We can begin with how you are today.

How care may meet you.

We begin by listening to what rest would mean for you today. That might include the areas that need attention, your preferences about pressure, or how you want check-ins to happen. You do not need to choose a technique in advance.

The pace and kind of touch are considered together and can change as the session unfolds. You can ask for a pause, more conversation, or less. Comfort and consent matter more than completing a planned approach.

At the end, there can be time to notice what you experienced and discuss a next step if that would be useful. No particular sensation or result is expected.
