Your visit to Wild Hart

What to expect from your massage session.

Get a sense of your visit, from the first conversation to heading back into your day. Your questions, comfort, and feedback help shape the session along the way.

Come with a goal in mind, or simply a wish for time to yourself.

From arrival to afterwards

Your session, step by step

Sessions follow a familiar sequence while making room for what is different each time. The conversation is part of the care, and the plan can change as we go.

01

Arrive and settle in

Start with what brings you in today: a goal, a question, or time for yourself. Your practitioner can help you put the focus into words.

02

Start with a conversation.

We talk about your goals, relevant health history, and how you are feeling. Share recent changes, sensitivities, areas you would like attention on, and anything you prefer to leave out. You do not need a perfect explanation or a technique in mind.

03

Choose a direction together.

Your practitioner brings possibilities; you bring your preferences and experience. Before hands-on work begins, we discuss the focus, pressure, positioning, and consent. You can ask what an approach involves before deciding.

04

Adjust as we go

The work can change as you notice what feels useful. Pressure, pace, and areas of focus remain open to adjustment. You can ask for less, more, something different, a pause, or an end to the work.

05

Take time before you go

At the end, there is time to reorient and share what you noticed. Questions, observations, and any useful suggestions can be discussed before you head back into your day.

Your choices stay with you

You can change your mind

Consent continues throughout the session. Agreeing to a plan at the beginning does not mean staying with it if your needs or preferences change.

Pressure & pace

You do not have to push through discomfort. A simple “lighter,” “slower,” or “can we pause?” is useful information, and you can change your mind at any point.

Position & personal space

We can discuss positioning, clothing and draping, areas to avoid, and the boundaries you want to keep. Let your practitioner know about temperature, music, or other comfort preferences, too.

Conversation & quiet

Questions and feedback are welcome. Quiet is welcome, too. You do not need to keep a conversation going or share more of your story than you want to.

Before and after your visit

Check the details before you arrive, and take time to notice how you feel afterwards.

Before you come in

Check your appointment details and the directions to the studio. Bring the questions you want to ask, and be ready to share relevant health history, recent changes, or access and comfort needs with your practitioner.

If you are unsure which session to choose, there is room to ask before booking.

After you leave

Notice how you feel as you return to your day. You can share what felt useful, what you would change, or any questions that come up later.

Any suggestions are discussed in the context of your visit. You do not need to leave with a new routine or a decision about your next appointment.
