Liza Patterson

LMT-29230

Liza, licensed massage therapist at Wild Hart Massage in Portland, Oregon, trained at East West College and specializing in prenatal and pediatric massage.

Liza’s practice is rooted in steadiness, empathy, and a curiosity about the ways the body carries and releases experience. She graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts, where she trained in therapeutic massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, Ayurvedic massage, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy. She brings the same depth of care to each session, whether easing long-held tension or supporting gentle restoration. Liza’s presence reflects the Wild Hart ethos: touch that is precise and attuned, grounded in anatomy yet responsive to each client’s unique story.

Her current path is leading her deeper into perinatal and family care. She is pursuing advanced training in prenatal and pediatric massage, expanding her ability to support families through the thresholds of pregnancy, birth, and early childhood. For Liza, these are not just physical passages, but moments where the body holds the possibility of new beginnings. Her work honors these transitions with quiet presence and a steady hand, helping clients—whether expecting, parenting, or simply seeking balance—find ease and support.

Forest Hart

Forest stands outdoors in a forest setting, wearing a dark green shirt and black cardigan, looking slightly to the side with a soft smile. The background is filled with warm green and golden leaves, softly blurred for a natural, serene effect.

Forest Day Hart is the practitioner behind Wild Hart Massage. He is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts, certified in intraoral massage, and a certified SoundMind Facilitator licensed by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to provide facilitation services. He brings over 15 years of experience in Taoist martial arts and meditation, and is continuing advanced massage studies through the Upledger Institute in Craniosacral Therapy and the Barral Institute in Visceral and Neural Manipulation.

His path has been shaped by a lifelong exploration of the body as both a vessel for healing and a mirror for transformation. Drawing on clinical massage training, somatic practices, and contemplative traditions, he creates care that is both precise and deeply human. Each session is grounded in anatomy and skill, but guided by presence, intuition, and humility. His role is not only to ease discomfort, but to help clients discover what their body has been asking for all along: balance, renewal, and the freedom to move forward with ease.

Where Stillness Meets Becoming

Wild Hart was founded on the belief that healing unfolds in liminal spaces—the thresholds where old patterns soften and something new takes shape. The name carries this meaning too: the hart, or stag, is a creature of the in-between, moving with quiet grace through forests, edges, and crossings. In myth and story, deer appear as guides, signaling moments of change and leading wanderers toward deeper truths. They embody sensitivity and strength, the capacity to pause, listen, and leap when the time is right.

This is the essence of our work. Each session is an invitation into that liminal space, where body, mind, and spirit can settle and realign. Whether through the flowing rhythms of Swedish massage, the precision of deep tissue, or the stillness of craniosacral therapy, the practice is guided by one principle: to create room for release, renewal, and becoming. Wild Hart Massage exists as a sanctuary at the threshold, where stillness and transformation meet.

Every Session as a Conversation

Massage at Wild Hart is never a formula, but a dialogue. Each session is woven from multiple modalities—Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and more—shaped by what your body needs in that moment. Some clients arrive seeking relief from chronic pain, others to soften stress or to find grounding during a life transition. What they all share is the need to be met exactly where they are.

That is the heart of this approach: listening first, attuning to the body’s story, and responding with touch that supports balance and clarity. Techniques are chosen not as isolated tools, but as threads in a larger tapestry of care. The goal is not only to ease discomfort but to restore flow, create space, and awaken the body’s own capacity to heal. Every massage is a unique conversation—one that begins with presence and unfolds into renewal.

Care at the Threshold of Change

Massage at Wild Hart is never a formula, but a dialogue. Each session is woven from multiple modalities—Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and more—shaped by what your body needs in that moment. Care is practiced with attention to consent, communication, pacing, and access, allowing sessions to remain responsive rather than prescriptive. You can read more about how care is approached here.

The environment is crafted to be welcoming, grounded, and intentional. Each session is an act of partnership: we bring training, presence, and skill, and you bring your lived experience and readiness for change. Together, we create a space where the body can soften, the mind can rest, and the spirit can move forward.
