Practical learning, skilled touch, and embodied understanding.
Training at Wild Hart Massage is rooted in hands-on experience, thoughtful pacing, and respect for the learning process. We offer occasional group trainings, student support sessions, and peer-based massage trades designed to deepen skill, confidence, and embodied awareness—without hierarchy or pressure to perform.
This page outlines current student offerings and how to engage. Additional trainings and workshops are offered periodically.
Our approach to training centers the body as the primary teacher. Rather than emphasizing rigid protocols or technique memorization, learning is shaped through direct experience, feedback, and reflection. Sessions are held with the same care, consent, and professionalism as clinical work—creating a space where curiosity and skill can develop together.
This approach is especially supportive for students interested in therapeutic massage, trauma-aware bodywork, and nervous system–informed practice.
Discounted in-studio sessions for massage students
Massage students are welcome to book in-studio sessions at a reduced rate. These sessions are full therapeutic treatments—paced, responsive, and tailored to the body—while also offering students the opportunity to experience skilled touch and ask questions afterward if desired.

Peer-based exchange for licensed or student practitioners
Massage trades are structured, intentional exchanges between practitioners. Time is divided evenly to allow both giving and receiving, with attention to consent, pacing, and feedback. Trades are not instructional sessions but may include brief reflection or discussion when helpful.

From time to time, Wild Hart Massage offers small-group trainings focused on specific topics such as therapeutic listening, nervous system regulation, intra-session communication, or embodied practitioner care. These sessions are typically held in groups of four to six participants and emphasize experiential learning over lecture-based instruction.
Upcoming trainings are announced here as they become available.
