All sessions are booked online through our scheduling system. You’ll choose a session length and, where applicable, a specific service type. If you’re unsure which option is best, you’re welcome to reach out before booking.
Occasionally, same-day availability opens up. The booking system reflects real-time availability, so checking there is the best way to see what’s currently open. You can always call or text 503-300-6383 to check today's availability.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, as that time has been reserved specifically for you.
Sessions end at their scheduled time in order to respect both your practitioner and other clients. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened while the full fee still applies.
At this time, no deposit is required. Full payment is due at the time of the session.
Your first visit includes time to review your intake, discuss goals, and establish clear consent around pressure, focus areas, and boundaries. Sessions are unrushed and adapt to your body’s feedback throughout the work.
Rather than selecting from a fixed menu, sessions are guided by your goals and how your body responds. Techniques may be integrated as appropriate and are always discussed beforehand.
Techniques are selected in real time based on your needs, comfort, and nervous system response. The work evolves as the session unfolds rather than following a preset routine.
You may undress to your comfort level. Proper draping is used at all times. If you have preferences around clothing, modesty, or positioning, those can be accommodated—just let us know.
Massage should never be painful. Some areas with habitual tension may feel intense, but the pressure is always adjustable based on your feedback. If you ever want lighter or firmer pressure, just ask.
Some people feel mild soreness after focused work — similar to post-exercise sensations. This usually eases within a day, and gentle movement and hydration can help.
Consent is ongoing and collaborative. Pressure, pace, and areas of focus can be adjusted at any time. You are always welcome to speak up, and your boundaries are respected without question.
Yes. Sessions are approached with attention to pacing, choice, and nervous system regulation. You are never expected to push through discomfort or disclose anything you don’t wish to share.
Wild Hart Massage is a professional therapeutic practice. Inappropriate behavior or requests are not tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
Yes — your preferences guide the work. If there are areas you want more attention on, or areas you prefer avoided, let your therapist know during intake or at any time during the session.
Session rates are based on time rather than technique. This allows the work to be responsive and adaptable rather than constrained by a service menu. Current rates are listed on the Pricing page.
A limited number of sliding scale sessions are available each month to support access to care. This follows a green bottle approach and does not require applications or proof. Availability varies, and inquiries can be made directly.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance for corporate or event-based bookings.
Some insurance plans may be accepted with prior approval, and superbills are available upon request. Coverage varies by provider and plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.
A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. You pay the full session fee upfront, and your insurance company determines whether and how much they reimburse.
Parking is available on neighborhood streets near the studio. Arrive a few minutes early so you have time to settle in.
