A session shaped around the person, not a protocol.

Clinical & Therapeutic Bodywork

Targeted Jaw & TMJ Care

Detailed bodywork for jaw tension, clenching, and TMJ-related discomfort. External work can be the whole session; intraoral work is an optional choice.

About this session

A session with time for detailed attention to the jaw, face, and chewing muscles. If clenching, jaw tension, or TMJ-related discomfort is what brings you in, we can focus the work there while considering nearby head and neck areas when useful.

External bodywork can be the whole session. Intraoral work is an additional option with a qualified practitioner and your specific consent. We discuss what it involves before beginning, and you can pause, decline, or change your mind at any time.

Options for your session

Ways to shape this session.

These are possibilities, not a preset. Choose clothing, draping, and every other preference on the day, based on your comfort. You can change your mind at any point; we’ll discuss how your choices shape the session.

Every session is gender affirming. Trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people are welcome with every practitioner. We respect your name, pronouns, and the language you use for your body; you decide what you want to share.

Clothing is what stays on your body; draping is how sheets or blankets provide coverage. Mostly clothed means keeping most clothing on while allowing access to a specific area. No clothing still includes the draping we agree on.

Who this is for

  • You notice frequent clenching or tension in the muscles around your jaw and want focused bodywork.
  • TMJ-related discomfort makes jaw care your main reason for booking.
  • You are curious about intraoral work, or prefer external work only, and want time to discuss those choices without pressure.

What we may explore

  • Where you notice jaw tension and what you would like the session to prioritize.
  • How external contact and comfortable movement feel around the jaw and face.
  • Whether intraoral work is something you want to consider, with room to decline or change your mind.

What the session may include

  • Detailed external soft-tissue work around agreed areas of the jaw and face.
  • Related head, neck, or shoulder work where useful.
  • Optional intraoral work with a qualified practitioner and specific consent.

What to expect

We discuss your concerns and choose where to begin. External work may be enough for the whole session. If intraoral work is appropriate and something you want, we explain it first and agree on how you will pause or stop the work. Your consent remains changeable throughout.
